Whenever I am asked what show I would want to work on if I could pick any show, the answer is always Hacks. When the opportunity came around to work on season 4 and do some Additional Editing, I jumped at the chance to be a part of this incredible show. Working on Hacks was definitely an honor that I took very seriously.

The dailies on this show certainly are an embarrassment of riches. The leads, Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder are just incredible actors and bring so much to the role. Editing scenes is a joy with so many good takes to choose from. The biggest challenge with this show is working through the large amounts of alt lines in order to find the best and funniest version of a scene.

The show creators, Lucia, Paul and Jen, have very high standards and want the show to be the best and funniest version of itself that it can be. In order to work with actors, writers and directors at the top of their game, I had to be at the top of my game and I am so proud of the work that I did on Season 4.

It was a dream come true to be able to work on the show that Rogerebert.com calls “still the best comedy on television.”
